AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and shows what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and added each year. All ISA interest is paid tax-free, which means it's exempt from income tax. We pay all non-ISA savings interest gross, which means no tax is deducted. It's your responsibility to pay any tax due, based on your individual circumstances. Tax rules may change in the future. The Members' Draw
* Eligible Skipton Building Society members aged 18+ with a savings account (£100+) or a mortgage (£100+). Must be a UK resident (excludes Northern Ireland). Automatic entry for eligible members. Members can opt out at any time. Members receive at least 1 entry. Additional entries are awarded based on length of membership, up to a maximum of 5 entries. Monthly prizes of 1 x £25,000, 2 x £10,000, 5 x £1,000. Promotion runs until 30 September 2027. First draw: 1 October 2026. Monthly draws thereafter. Winners will be selected at random.
