Try our investment calculator
Our investment calculator shows how investing your money could help you to achieve your all-important financial goals. It provides you with a rough idea of the potential returns you could receive if your invested over a set period of time.
Share what you want to achieve, how much you think you’ll need, and when you want to reach your target amount by. We’ll then ask you about where you are now and your attitude to risk, to give you an idea of what you might need to do.
Things you should know
- These calculations are only examples. They are based on your chosen risk level and don’t consider any tax you may have to pay.
- The figures provided are calculated with the help of Moody’s analytics, using current forecasts and assumptions. They aren’t a reliable indicator of future performance.
- The values in the forecasts have been adjusted to show the impact of charges of 1% a year and inflation at 2%. This is why cash values appear to fall. (We are assuming a cash rate of 0%).
- Our assumed inflation rate of 2% reflects a long-term view of inflation and matches the Bank of England’s 2.0% target. The actual rate of inflation will vary and can be higher or lower.
- You should not use our calculator as financial advice. If you’d like to find out more about reaching your goals, you can book a free initial consultation using the call back form below.
It’s easy to get started
- First, tell our calculator about your goals, how much you can invest each month and how long you’d like to invest for (it should be at least five years.)
- Then you’ll need to decide on a level of risk you’re comfortable taking with your money. Our calculator explains the different levels to you.
