Induction loops

All our branches have induction loops.


SignVideo is a safe and secure online video service. It allows you to contact us using British Sign language by signing to an interpreter who speaks to us.

How to use SignVideo

SignVideo is also available in our branches. Just pop into your local branch and let one of our colleagues know you’d like to use this service.

BT Relay UK

BT Relay UK allows you to type messages to a text relay assistant who speaks to us over the phone and types back to you.

You can use the service by dialling 18001 from a text phone followed by any of our phone numbers. Or visit BT Relay UK's website to use their free app.

Web chat

Web chat is available so you can talk to us online - look for the chat icon on the right hand side of any page on our website.

Communication Access UK

Communication Access UK aims to make things easier for people with communication disabilities. It is a partnership between national charities and organisations. We were the only financial services organisation to take part in the 'early adopter' phase of this.

The initiative provides special training in helping customers with communications requirements. Over 1,500 Skipton colleagues have now completed this training.
