How to register our app

There are 2 ways to access your Skipton mortgage or savings account online. Both options will let you manage your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Step 1 - Sign up for Skipton Online

To be able to use our app, you first need to sign up to our online service - Skipton Online.

If you have already signed up for Skipton Online but you have forgotten your login details, you can reset them by following the forgotten login ID or forgotten password link in Skipton Online.

Once you are set up for Skipton Online, you then need to download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store.

Step 2 - Create a PIN

When you open the app, you'll be asked to create a six-digit PIN and to re-enter it for confirmation.

Once you have created the PIN, you'll be asked for your preferred method to log in. With facial recognition, your fingerprint (if your phone allows it), or with the PIN you have just created.

All these methods are secure and you can change how you want to log in at any time.

You will need to confirm you have read the terms and conditions.

Step 3 - Enter your Skipton Online login details

Next you will be asked to enter your login ID and password.

These are the same details you already use to log in to Skipton Online. You won't need to create anything new.

Then you will need to confirm you recognise your security image and phrase, before answering a security question.

Step 4 - We'll send you a unique code

We will send you a unique registration code by text message or in the post.

Once you have entered this code, you are registered and ready to use the app.
