£20 Love2shop e-Gift Card Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

1. This prize draw is for one of ten £20 Love2shop e-Gift Cards and there is no cash or other alternative to the prize offered.
2. One entry per person, aged 18 or over and no purchase is necessary. Entry into the prize draw is only available to individuals invited to enter by providing their home insurance renewal month in accordance with the instructions in the invitation email. Open to UK residents only.
3. By entering you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and be bound by them. To enter the prize draw the entrant must choose the month that their home insurance policy is due for renewal. Once the entrant has selected their relevant renewal month, their submission will automatically be processed. The entrant will then be taken to a page that will confirm the entry submission. The first selection of their renewal month will be counted as the entry.
4. The closing date for entries is 11:59pm on Sunday 5th May 2024 and the draw will take place no later than Friday 10th May 2024. All valid entries received by the closing date will be entered into the draw. Any entries submitted after the closing date will be excluded from the prize draw. We will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries and take no responsibility for any entries that are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid. We expressly disclaim any and all warranties, whether express or implied, relating to the prize. No correspondence will be entered into and entries cannot be returned.
5. The winners will be drawn from all valid entries by a random prize draw. The winners will be notified by email or phone no later than Friday 24th May 2024. Winners must respond within 21 days confirming acceptance of the prize and their email address. The Love2shop e-Gift Card will be sent via email within seven days of acceptance to the email address provided. Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize. You can request the name and county of the winner by emailing marketingpromotions@skipton.co.uk after the 24th May 2024.
6. In the event of non-acceptance within 21 days or if the person is not contactable, we reserve the right to reallocate the prize awarded to the next randomly drawn valid entry.
7. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond our control make this unavoidable. The prize draw is not open to employees or agents of Skipton Building Society and other member companies within the Skipton Building Society Group, their families or any other person connected with the draw.
8. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the promoter is Skipton Building Society.
9. Love2shop is not a sponsor of this promotion. You can spend the Love2Shop e-Gift Card at the eligible stores as detailed on the Love2shop website. See Love2shop for their list of restrictions. Love2shop is owned by the Park Group plc (registered in England with company number 1711939). Love2shop terms and conditions will apply to the prize, which can be found on the Love2shop website.

Opting out of the email inviting you to get a renewal quote

We will use the information collected from your entry in the prize draw to send you an email nearer the time of your insurance renewal to invite you to get a quote (subject to you having an active marketing consent at the time). You can opt out of receiving this email by emailing marketingpromotions@skipton.co.uk.

Use of your information

1. If you enter the prize draw, the information about your renewal month will be linked to other information we hold about you and will be used for marketing analysis and to administer the prize draw. The surname and county of the winner will be provided to the Advertising Standard Agency on request. If you are selected a winner and we receive a request for these details from any other enquirer, we will contact you to give you an opportunity to object to us releasing this information. We will not share your details, other than in this paragraph, with anyone else in relation to the prize draw.
2. Skipton Building Society is the data controller responsible for the safekeeping of your data.
3. You have the right to be told how we use your data, request details of the personal data we hold, request that it be erased, object to the use of your data and to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.
