When can I add more money to my account?

After the first 7 days from account opening, our fixed rate products can be closed to payments in at any time and without notice. Once this happens you normally won't be able to make a payment into your account until the day after it has matured.

Sometimes, as a concession, we may allow payments into a fixed rate account for 2 weeks prior to maturity. In this case, we will let you know when we write to you to explain your maturity options.

  • If you don't contact us with alternative instructions before your account matures, your maturing funds will automatically transfer into the 'do-nothing' product described in your maturity letter.
  • If you choose to transfer your funds into a fixed rate 'do nothing' product or any other product from our fixed rate maturity range, then for 21 days after maturity you can make additional payments into your account. After this, your account may be closed to further deposits at any time and without notice.
  • If you’ve selected any other product from our range, you can pay in as described in the account terms and conditions.

How can I add more money to my account?

If you're making a payment into an ISA and you've not paid in for over 12 months, you will need to reconfirm your ISA declaration before making a payment. If this applies to you, please contact us to make sure your payment can be accepted.
