Moving House

We have a range of mortgages available if you’re moving house, and calculators to help you work out how much you could borrow and afford to repay.

Mortgage calculators

Use our mortgage calculators to get a rough idea of how much your mortgage repayments might be every month, how much you might be able to borrow, and to work out the impact that different deposit amounts could have on a mortgage.

Got a Skipton mortgage already?

There are a few things you could do if you already have a mortgage with us:

  • Transfer it to your new property (known as ‘porting’).
  • Increase the amount you’ve borrowed to pay for things like home improvements (known as ‘Additional Borrowing’).
  • Switch over to a new mortgage deal when your existing one is coming to an end. Check out our remortgage range.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
