The product is designed specifically for rental properties. You can protect your property and your contents, and help to safeguard your rental income too.
As standard, you'll be covered for loss or damage from fire, flooding, water and oil leaks or fallen trees and accidental breakage of fixed glass and sanitaryware. Depending on the options you choose, our policies can also cover you in cases of malicious damage by tenants, theft, unpaid rent and legal disputes.
Landlords' insurance at a glance
- If the property is made uninhabitable by an insured event, you can claim for loss of rent or for providing alternative accommodation for your tenant up to £40,000 as standard under buildings cover.
- Home emergency cover up to £500 is included as standard under buildings cover.
- We offer landlords contents, accidental damage or malicious damage by tenants, legal expenses and rent guarantee cover for an extra premium.
