Further terms and conditions for the Branch Access Account
- Interest rates are variable.
- Withdrawals can be made, for a minimum of £100, provided the minimum balance is maintained. The account can also be closed.
- All transfers to and from other Skipton accounts (where applicable) are subject to the terms and conditions of those accounts.
- The maximum balance can only be exceeded with capitalised interest.
- Interest will accrue on a daily basis and will be credited to your account or paid into your bank account or other suitable Skipton Building Society account at midnight on 16 May each year.
- After the end of the initial bonus period, customers cannot transfer funds into a new Branch Access Account, or close their account and open a new Branch Access Account, to maintain the bonus interest rate.
- The Branch Access Account is a share account which confers membership rights and is subject to the Rules of the Society. Copies of the Rules can be obtained from any branch or from our Principal Office.
AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates what the rate would be if interest was paid and added each year.
Gross means the interest paid before the deduction of income tax at 20%.
