My Savings Issue 3

With our My Savings account we'll listen to what your savings goals are and help you get your finances to where you want them to be. By focussing on what you really want to achieve, you'll find getting there a whole lot easier.

  • Open the account with a minimum of £1 by cheque, cash (branch only), debit card, or an internal transfer from another Skipton Building Society account.

  • Maximum investment of £1,000,000 (£2,000,000 for joint accounts).
  • Withdrawals are permitted.
  • Receive a passbook to help keep track of your savings.
  • Access by telephone is available if you are 16 or over - subject to eligibility.

Important information

With our Everyday Savings account you not only have the flexibility to withdraw funds without any penalties, you are also able to make multiple subsequent investments enabling you to manage your funds easily.

Interest you earn will be paid into your account either annually on the 31 January or paid monthly on the 31st of each month. Where there are less than 31 days in the month, the interest will be paid on the last day of the month.

Alternatively you can have your interest paid into another suitable Skipton Building Society account, or other UK building society or bank account. Interest will be paid on the next working day after the date your interest is due (working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays).
