We all know that things change – there was once a time when most parents thought education was the responsibility of the state and further education was far from the norm. But this world no longer exists.
As people become more affluent and less satisfied with the state education system, there has been a shift towards parents paying for their child’s education. At the same time, changes in Government policy, in the form of top-up fees, are transferring the financial responsibility for university education from the state to parents and students – resulting in the need to save, to learn.
Whether you choose to send your child to a fee-paying or non-fee paying school, education is an expensive business. Regardless of fees, there are uniforms and sport kits to buy, trips to pay for and perhaps music lessons or other extra-curricular activities that do not come for free.
To help you plan for your child’s education, we have designed the Save to learn website. By taking the online test, we will be able to provide guidance as to how much your child’s education could cost you and help you find the best way to afford it.
