Over 50s Life Insurance Plan

The Fixed Plan

Would you like to ease your family's money worries when you're no longer around? The Over 50s Fixed Life Plan provided by Legal & General could be just the answer by helping to pay your funeral expenses or other outstanding bills. The cash sum could even be left as a gift to your grandchildren.

Starting from just £5 a month, premiums are fixed and won't increase once your plan starts. Your cash sum is also fixed and the Rate Table shows you how much benefit you could receive.

Benefits of the Over 50s Fixed Life Insurance Plan

  • Offers you the certainty of a fixed monthly premium and cash sum so the premium never increases.
  • No medical or health assessment when you apply as we offer guaranteed acceptance to UK residents aged 50 to 80.
  • Peace of mind from guaranteed lifelong cover even though you stop paying premiums if you reach your 90th birthday.
  • Your benefit will be paid in full if you die two years or more after your plan starts.
  • If you die within the first two years of your plan we will not pay the benefit but we will return all the premiums paid. However, if you die as a result of an accident, then the full benefit will be paid. Exclusions and limitations apply; for more information, please read the Policy Summary.

Please read the Over 50s Fixed Life Insurance Plan policy details section for further details.

It's important to remember that your cash sum is not protected against inflation and may reduce buying power in the future. If you want a Plan that will keep up with the cost of living go to the Increasing Plan page.
