The claims process is simple and straightforward; to begin a claim you will need to call the number below and provide your Home Insurance policy number (which can be found on your Policy Schedule) and details of the claim. Your claims adviser will then be able to tell you what you need to do next.

You can make a Home Insurance claim at any time of the day or night, so we also have a nationwide network of authorised repairers available around the clock to start putting things right.

If you’re making a Buildings Insurance claim and an authorised repairer is appointed:

  • You will not need to obtain any estimates
  • They will make your home safe for you
  • They’ll arrange a convenient time to complete any further work.

For contents or valuables and personal belongings claims, we’ll arrange for a professional tradesperson to repair or replace your damaged items as soon as possible. For some Buildings and Contents claims, we may ask a loss adjuster to visit you to help make the claim easier and explain how the process works.
