Introduction to Treasury

The Treasury department is responsible for managing the Society's wholesale market activities. Access to the wholesale markets allows the Society to smooth out variations in savings flows and moderates reliance upon traditional sources of funding. Consistent with the legal status of the Society, at least 50% of funds are raised in the form of shares held by individual members of the Society.
