What I bring to the Board: I am a strong believer in continuous improvement, ensuring that everything starts with the customer’s perception of value.
In what ways are you helping to make a difference? I have broad legal and operational experience across a number of sectors, and I believe in strong alignment between strategy and all stakeholder's interests, starting with the customer.
What is your ambition for the business? To ensure that customers continue to get the service and products they need to make informed decisions, in an ever more complex world.
What does Skipton mean to you? I really admire both the customer centric culture and the wider ambition to Build a Better Society, which means being alive to all stakeholder interests and taking a longer term view. Skipton really does live and breathe its values.
What makes you tick? I have a passion for personal development so take every opportunity to learn and stretch myself, and enjoy mentoring and helping others to develop their own careers.
Beyond work: My family and friends are hugely important to me and I spend as much time as I can with them. I also really value “giving something back” so thoroughly enjoy my role at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, and last year rehomed a dog from there.
