Macmillan Cancer Support

Colleagues from our head office and branches work hard to support the communities around them and the causes that matter most to staff and customers. Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is a great opportunity to raise money for a charity providing practical, medical and financial support and pushing for better cancer care, whilst also being able to get people together for a brew and a slice of cake.

Take a look at some of our activity from previous years.

Worcester branch

The team at Worcester set about making delicious cakes for the Coffee Morning. Triple chocolate brownies, lemon drizzle cake and white & milk chocolate crispy cakes were on offer for their customers.

Dundee branch

All the branch team at Dundee chipped in to bake, enlisting family members to help out too. On the day, the kettle was boiled and they were ready to go!

Lots of regular customers joined them for a cuppa and a cake and they also had a donation from a local shopkeeper who had a cake delivered to the branch.

Scarborough branch

Scarborough once again stepped up to the challenge to raise money, and in aid of Macmillan the branch was decked out in green, and so were the team!

The team dressed in green and donated money to do so, they then spent the day selling cakes to their customers, really getting into the spirit of things.
